Sunday April 24th at 8 p.m., Ragnar Árni Ólafsson, guitarist and composer, and the music ensemble Skerpla will perform at a concert in Hafnarborg, as part of the concert series Phonemes. The programme features works which are created along with artificial intelligence, both in the works of Ragnar Árni Ólafsson and Jennifer Walshe. In the works, the listener encounters questions about the artwork itself and its state, as well as the voice of the author.
Hafnarborg’s concert series Phonemes is dedicated to presenting music by various contemporary composers from the 20th and 21st century, shedding light upon artistic research in the abstract world of the poetry of sounds. The event is also supported by The Music Fund and the French Embassy in Iceland.
Tickets are sold in Hafnarborg. General admittance is 2,500 ISK and the ticket price is 1,500 ISK for senior citizens and students.
The concert is supported by the Icelandic Music Fund and the Artist’s Salary Fund.
