Friday September 4th at 5 p.m., singer Rebekka Blöndal will perform a selection from the songbook of Billie Holiday, accompanied by guitarist Andrés Þór Gunnlaugsson and bassist Haraldur Ægir Guðmundsson, for the first concert of a new concert series called Afternoon Concerts at Hafnarborg.
The Afternoon Concerts at Hafnarborg will take place one Friday afternoon each month from September until May. The concert series is supported by the Music Fund, as well as Hafnarborg, and the artistic director of the series is Andrés Þór Gunnlaugsson.
