Friday March 10th at 6 p.m., the Ólafur Jónsson Quartet will perform at the next Afternoon Concert at Hafnarborg. Alongside saxophonist Ólafur Jónsson, the quartet is made up of guitarist Andrés Þór, bassist Þorgrímur Jónsson and drummer Erik Qvick. At the concert, the quartet will play a mix of Ólafur’s own compositions, as well as well-known jazz standards.
The concert lasts for approximately one hour and admission is free.
The concert series is supported by the town of Hafnarfjörður, the Rannís Music Fund and the FÍH Culture Fund.
