Sunday May 7th at 8 p.m., chamber music group Ensemble Adapter will perform at a concert in Hafnarborg, as part of the concert series Phonemes. The group is led by harpist Gunnhildur Einarsdóttir and percussionist Matthias Engler who will be joined by composer/performer Celeste Oram and composer/violinist Keir GoGwilt. At the concert, they will perform their collaborative project, Yunge Eylands Varpcast Netwerkið.
Tickets are sold in Hafnarborg. General admittance is 2,500 ISK and the ticket price is 1,500 ISK for senior citizens and students.
Phonemes, the concert series, is dedicated to presenting music by various contemporary composers from the 20th and 21st century, but the series has been part of the Hafnarborg programme since 2013. The concert is supported by the Icelandic Music Fund, the FÍH Culture Fund and Deutschlandfunk Kultur.
