Sunday December 15th at 1-3 p.m., we invite guests of all ages, children and families to attend a Christmas Card Workshop at the museum, where we will get a chance to learn about each other through holiday traditions. Participants will create Christmas cards, write and share holiday greetings in different languages and celebrate the diversity of our community. All materials are provided by the museum and we will also have gingerbread cookies to help us get into the festive spirit. The workshop will be led by Unnur Mjöll S. Leifsdóttir.
The workshop will take place on the ground floor of the museum and we ask that children attend accompanied by parent(s) or guardian(s). As always, participation in workshops and entrance to the museum’s exhibitions is free of charge. The event is part of the museum’s programme In My Language, which aims at welcoming guests to Hafnarborg in various languages, thus making the museum more accessible to people of different backgrounds. The programme is supported by the Museum Fund.
