Sunday October 10th from 2-4 p.m., Hafnarborg will host a creative workshop in connection with the exhibition Community of Sentient Beings, where the five senses – sight, hearing, touch, taste and scent – will be brought into play. Participants will then create their very own sentient being from miscellaneous materials. The instructor of the workshop is Ólöf Bjarnadóttir, the museum’s education representative.
The creative workshop is a part of the Book and Cinema Festival for children in Hafnarfjörður. The workshop will take place on the ground floor of the museum and children may attend with parents or guardians. As always, participation in workshops and entrance to the museum‘s exhibitions is free of charge.
