Friday May 19th at 6 p.m., singer-songwriters Rebekka Blöndal and Marína Ósk will perform at the last Afternoon Concert of the season at Hafnarborg, accompanied by guitarist Andrés Þór and bassist Andri Ólafsson.
Rebekka and Marína both released albums in August last year and received the Icelandic Music Prize in March of this year, Rebekka receiving the award as Vocalist of the Year in the field of Jazz and Rebekka for the Composition of the Year in the same field.
At the concert they will perform songs from their new albums, as well as joining together for select songs.
The concert lasts for approximately one hour and admission is free.
The concert series is supported by the town of Hafnarfjörður, the Rannís Music Fund and the FÍH Culture Fund.
