Friday October 2nd at 17:30 p.m., the Beija-Flor quartet will perform for guests at Hafnarborg. Members of the quartet are Sigrún Kristbjörg Jónsdóttir on trombone, violin and singing, Alexandra Kjeld on double bass and vocals, Andrés Þór Gunnlaugsson on guitar and Einar Scheving on percussion. The programme consists of tunes by some of the greatest musicians and songwriters of Brazilian music: Antonio Carlos Jobim, Djavan, Paulinho da Viola and Luiz Bonfa. A true Brazilian fest.
Krydd Restaurant, located on Hafnarborg’s ground floor, will offer drinks on special prices.
Limited seating is available due to Covid-19 restrictions, but guests can reserve tickets from September 28th by calling Hafnarborg at 585 5790. Guests are kindly asked to wear masks at the concert. Admission is free.
