Tónagull – International Family Music Meeting

Sunday February 16th at 2 p.m., in collaboration with Tónagull, we invite you to an free international music meeting for families with young children (ages 0-4). During the session, both the parents and the young ones have fun with songs, nursery rhymes, movement, colourful scarves and a whole set of small instruments, especially selected for this age group. The sessions are designed to foster joy and well-being through music and movement, both for children and their parents.

The programme was originally developed by prof. Helga Rut Guðmundsdóttir from the University of Iceland and has been offered continuously since 2004. Hafnarborg has been a proud partner of Tónagull since spring 2020, when the first music sessions in Polish were hosted at the museum. Please note that no prior musical experience is necessary in order to participate, nor is knowledge of Icelandic required – families of all languages and cultural backgrounds are welcome. Tónagull is for everyone!

The session is led by Natalia Duerte Jeremías.
