Round table discussions in Icelandic about the exhibition MEN will be held at Hafnarborg, Saturday April 18th at 2 p.m.
The Institute for Gender, Equality and Difference of the University of Iceland organizes the Round Table discussions where scholars will discuss the topic of the exhibition in light of researches on the male identity.
Participants are:
Ingólfur V. Gíslason professor at the University of Iceland, who has particularly carried out researches on gender equality and affects of maternity leave on equality, men and masculinity.
Jón Ingvar Kjaransson doctor and instructor at the School of Education at the University of Iceland, who focuses on queer – and gender studies.
Árni Matthíasson journalist who has written columns on the status of men.
