Friday September 18th at 6 p.m., singer Rebekka Blöndal will perform with her trio at the first Afternoon Concert of the autumn at Hafnarborg. She will be joined by Andrés Þór on guitar and Þorgrímur Jónsson on double bass.

The programme will feature a varied selection of Rebekka’s music, ranging from earlier works to more recent material. The trio will also perform songs from her newly released album, Kannski, which has been warmly received and praised by critics. The music on the album is personal and intimate, bringing together Icelandic lyrics, melodic songwriting and influences from jazz and contemporary pop.

In recent years, Rebekka Blöndal has attracted attention for her distinctive and sensitive performances and this concert offers audiences an opportunity to experience her music in an intimate live setting.

The concert lasts for approximately one hour and admission is free.
