Friday February 27th at 6 p.m., singer Kristjana Stefánsdóttir will perform at the first Afternoon Concert of 2026 at Hafnarborg, together with Birgir Steinn Theódórsson on bass and Andrés Þór on guitar. The programme will feature a selection of jazz pieces from various directions.

Kristjana Stefánsdóttir has been a leading figure on the Icelandic jazz scene for many years and is an award-winning composer for theatre and musicals. She has recorded both under her own name and appears regularly on radio, television and in concert, both in Iceland and abroad. Kristjana frequently collaborates with other musicians, including the Reykjavík Big Band, Svavar Knútur, Ragnheiður Gröndal, Daði Birgisson, Kjartan Valdemarsson and Sigurður Flosason, in addition to performing with her own groups.
The concert lasts for approximately one hour and admission is free.
The concert series is supported by the town of Hafnarfjörður and the FÍH Culture Fund.
