Hafnarborg is open every day, except Tuesdays, from 12–5 PM. Admission to the museum is free of charge.

Take the bus

Two bus routes travel to Hafnarfjörður from Reykjavík:

• Leið S1 from downtown (via Hlemmur).
• Leið 21 from Mjódd.

Both buses stop at the Fjörður shopping center, which is a short walk from Hafnarborg.
