The Hafnarborg Songfest 2025 – Programme

The Hafnarborg Songfest will take place for the ninth time from June 14th–29th 2025. The Songfest is dedicated to classical music, art song, opera and choral music. The purpose of The Songfest is to celebrate vocal music and increase knowledge of the voice through concerts and courses.

At The Hafnarborg Songfest this year, there will be eight concerts, featuring outstanding vocalists and instrumentalists, in addition to a number of courses for children and adults, beginners as well as advanced singers. The founders and directors of The Songfest are Guðrún Jóhanna Ólafsdóttir, mezzo-soprano, and Francisco Javier Jáuregui, classical guitarist.
