Tuesday September 1st at 12 p.m., Gissur Páll Gissurarson, tenor, will perform at the first Midday Concert of the autumn at Hafnarborg, alongside Antonía Hevesi, pianist and artistic director of the concert series, but the majority of the concerts had to be cancelled in the spring, due to the Coronavirus pandemic in Iceland. For this concert, seating will be limited, following the guidelines of health authorities, though the concert will also be streamed online. At the concert, Gissur will perform arias from operas and operettas by Flotow, Verdi and Lehár.
