Saturday November 28th at 3 p.m., artist and curator Iryna Kamienieva will lead guests on a guided tour in Ukrainian of the exhibition Landscape for the Chosen Ones, currently on view at the museum. The tour is open to all interested above the age of 13, no prior knowledge or experience with art is required.
The exhibition includes works by ten Icelandic and international artists, whose works raise various questions about escapism: What situation do we escape today? Is it a positive or a negative phenomenon? What does the current landscape of escapism look like? And who has access to it? The exhibition is comprised of works made in various media, for example paintings, graphic works, sculptures and video.
Iryna Kamienieva is an artist and a curator from Ukraine. She has been living in Iceland since 2022, where she has been working in the field of art as well as refugee reception.
In My Language is an event programme focused on making Hafnarborg more accessible to people of different backgrounds by welcoming guests to the museum in various languages. The event is a collaboration between Hafnarborg and GETA – Aid Organisation/Get Together that provides support for asylum seekers and refugees in Hafnarfjörður and surrounding areas. The programme is supported by the Museum Fund.

Моєю мовою: Пейзаж для обраних – Екскурсія українською мовою
В суботу 28 жовтня о 15:00 художниця та кураторка Ірина Камєнєва проведе для відвідувачів екскурсію українською мовою виставкою Пейзаж для обраних, що проходить зараз у музеї. Екскурсія відкрита для всіх зацікавлених віком від 13 років, попередня освіта або досвід в сфері мистецтва не потрібні.
Виставка включає роботи десяти ісландських та іноземних художників, чиї твори розмірковують на тему ескапізму: Від яких ситуацій ми тікаємо сьогодні? Чи є ескапізм позитивним чи негативним явищем? Як виглядає сучасний ландшафт ескапізму? І хто має до нього доступ? Виставка об’єднує роботи в різних медіа, такі як живопис, графіка, скульптура та відео.
Ірина Камєнєва – художниця та кураторка з України. Вона живе в Ісландії з 2022 року, де працює одночасно в сферах мистецтва та прийому біженців.
«Моєю мовою» – це серія заходів, зосереджена на тому, щоб зробити Хапнарборг доступнішим для людей різного походження за допомогою проведення подій різними мовами. Це співпраця Хапнарборгу та GETA – організації допомоги/Get Together («Об’єднуймось»), що надає підтримку шукачам притулку та біженцям в місті Хапнарфйордур та його околицях. Програма фінансується фондом Музею.
