On Museum Night, February 2nd at 6 p.m., we invite you to the first Afternoon Concert of the year at Hafnarborg, featuring a trio led by contrabassist Haraldur Ægir Guðmundsson, also known as Halli Guðmunds. The programme will consist of new music by Haraldur Ægir, who recently released the album Tango for One.
Aside from Haraldur, the trio, dubbed “Latin Kid Dances Tango” by Halli, is made up of Matthías Hemstock on drums and percussion and Andrés Þór on guitar. The music is inspired by Latin sounds and has been well received by audiences since the release of the album.
The concert lasts for approximately one hour and admission is free.
The concert series is supported by the town of Hafnarfjörður, the Rannís Music Fund and the FÍH Culture Fund.
