Culture Walk – The Art and History of Hafnarfjörður

Wednesday July 14th at 8 p.m., Aldís Arnardóttir, Director of Hafnarborg, and Björn Pétursson, Director of the Hafnarfjörður Museum, will lead a walk focusing on the history of Hafnarfjörður, as told through the town’s artworks. The walk will begin at Hellisgerði Park and end at Reykdalsstífla Dam, lasting for approximately one and a half hour. The town of Hafnarfjörður offers a programme of special health and culture walks every Wednesday evening through the summer. The walks are a collaborative effort by Hafnarborg, The Hafnarfjörður Museum, The Hafnarfjörður Library and The Health Town Hafnarfjörður. Participation is free of charge and everyone is welcome. The event is in Icelandic.
