Friday April 29th at 5 p.m., Hertoginn (The Duke), a trio made up of Snorri Sigurðarson, on trumpet, Karl Olgeirsson, on Rhodes piano, and Jón Rafnsson, on contrabass, will play a concert at Hafnarborg. They will play songs like Mood Indigo, Prelude to a Kiss, Cotton Tail, C-Jam Blues, Don’t Get Around Much Anymore, Satin Doll and many more. The programme is dedicated to musician Duke Wellington, or “The Duke” as he was often called, but April 29th was his birthday.
Entry is free and the concert will last for approximately one hour.
