Friday September 9th at 6 p.m., we welcome you to the first concert of the season in the Hafnarborg Afternoon Concert series, now returning for the third year. This concert will feature the trio of violinist Dan Cassidy, alongside Andrés Þór on guitar and Jón Rafnsson on contrabass. Special guest will then be renowned singer Andrea Gylfadóttir. At the concert, they will perform beloved jazz and blues standards, as well as select gems from the world of pop music, in the spirit of violinists Stéphane Grappelli, Didier Lockwood and Svend Asmussen. The concert will last for approximately one hour and entry is free.
The concert series is supported by the town of Hafnarfjörður and the Rannís Music Fund.
